for some reason there's a glitch with how long it is
I wish he did more Philip Strand collabs like he did during this period. I loved the raw emotion of the progression and lyrics mixed with the powerful synths and stabs. Still, I have this absolute gem which will literally never get old.
this is a certified bop :) why is the bassline is so deep at the second part tho haha
idk i didnt put too much effort into mixing ;>
moral of the story: dont listen to your computer and push it to the redline. if it sounds good, it goes.
Would've loved to see a full version. Love the synthwork and all. I think it would've been nice to add some constant soft rain sounds in the background, no? Anyway happy new year :))
Thanks! Maybe will do a second version with new sound effects and longer length but not sure
HEAVY STUFF. that bassline is stiff and thick yet light on its feet, the sheer amount of madness yet order to it all with every pitch-glitch and pad. You never fail to amaze
You’re the best
Bossfight just dominates the bass world genre by genre and he's now aggressively siezing tearout, plaguing it with his ruffian growls and sickly, thick, heavy basses. From his bitpop days until now, he reigns over all <3
for starters, this feels alt rock as hell!! and that key change was an unecpected suprise. but i do feel like her voice is way too drowned out in everything else during the chorus. at 1:19 especially, it sounds really good but you can barely make out what she's saying.
whilst this does feel like every other song youve made recently (the intro sounding exactly like For The Love of Tax), that (for me at least) just confirms a good song ahead xD
additionally, love the hints of piano at 1:35 and such.
heavy stuff, man.
also are you gonna compile all these into a new album or what? xD
Cheers! Thanks for the detailed feedback, means a lot when people take the time to do that! :D
Get what you're saying about the recent batch of songs sounding maybe a bit too similar :') Used to be that I felt like every single aspect of every song I made had to be different, but wanted to try exploring this particular sound some more since I really enjoy it! Do guess there's up and down sides to sticking to a particular sound too much :P
And yes gonna compile all of this year's songs + 2 extra and release an album early next year! The artist I work with for the song art (Maarten Boot) and I planned out a consistent style for all of them which will come together in the album art!
ibr i found the intro a little dry, but one the drop hit it was blissful. the synthwork on the lead was totally my thing and i loved how you can kind of hear the chpituney-ness on it. then the overlapping at 1:32. amazing!
