ive been working on a lot of random things here and there. there is a new EP planned (the art has been made already :p) not sure when its gonna be released
one thing ive always thought about doing is a MUSIC VIDEO
wouldnt that be nice? although that would normally be better when paired with LYRICAL MUSIC
...but i dont know when thats going to be the case. animated or live action??
on that topic, ive always wanted to be in a band.
I love playing the keyboard and have done it many times and it remains my favourite hobby.
but ive only been playing by myself or jamming to other songs (mainly by Dunderpatrullen).
however ive always thought of how it must be to play along with other people live. that would be a different experience altogether. one which i wish to achieve someday.
if i was in a band, I would obviously be the keyboardist.
it dosent matter if theres already a keyboardist. it dosent matter if there are 2. or 3. or 7. im playing the keyboard.
and id get to do some sick lead solos from time to time. 10 minutes long. other than that i would be constantly decorating the whole song and painting the backdrop with synths and leads and plucks here and there, everywhere.
it would be nice if it was also lyrical because we would be appealing to more audiences then.
as such, im guessing the genre would be synth rock-pop. maybe even bitpop. which i dig.
the amount of lyrical bitpop songs are very few. we need MORE bitpop bands which incorporate vocals. and maybe. just maybe. my band will be the one to make that its core theme. obviously, it can be sonically taken wherever it wants. but you know what i mean.
THATS PRETTY MUCH the only way its gonna be a level above what it is now.
we will rule over all with out collective talent, teamwork and stuff like that.
one day

the kid who beat tetris seemed pretty talented.
to be honest, contrary to the beliefs of some people, i think thats an incredible achievement worth a npesta-rate reaction. im telling you, that requires dedication and skill that i cant even fathom.
i do indeed think it is a great achievement.
but you know whos gonna make an even better achievement?
ME
im gonna be the first person in history to make a WORLD RECORD.
im gonna be the person to break the record of the DUNDERPATRULLEN COMET KID INTRO SPEEDRUN.
OH YEAH.
of course, beating the record is quite easy because as of now, its 0s.
BUT I WILL BE TECHNICALLY THE FIRST PERSON IN THE WORLD TO ACHIEVE SUCH A THING.
MARK MY WORDS.
ONE DAY.
STAY TUNED INTO MY YOUTUBE IN CASE YOU CATCH THAT BRICK FALLIN FROM THE SKY CUS WHEN IT LANDS ITS GONNA MAKE A MARK IN THE TERRAIN OF HISTORY

i was just listening to a ton of modern breakcore and dnb. and i was like...
wait a minute...
CRYPTOGRAPHIXX is TRASH
i listened back on it, right, and it sounded super mediocre as if i was suddenly just moved on from being proud of it.
and i tell you right, this is my PROUDEST ALBUM to DATE
but its not there. im not there yet, yknow? not amongst the people with the anime cover arts and 12k views on youtube and all.
im telling you, its that damn MPC beats. im getting too old for it. the more musical skill i gain, the more i realise MPC beats isnt fit for me anymore because it cant do a lot of things. also its buggy.
once i get the hang of Tracktion or whatever, im gonna take that on as my new main weapon.
until then, the MPC beats sword im using continues to grow old and blunt.
only 2 audio tracks.
I made a whole album that is based off of sampling audio... using only 2 tracks for the drums themselves.
THE POINT OF THE ALBUM.
AND I MANAGED TO DO THAT.
IF I GET THE HANG OF TRACKTION WITH UNLIMITED AUDIO TRACKS, YOU ALL BETTER WATCH OUT JUST SAYING

Now that CRYPTOGRAPHIXX is out, what can you expect next?
Well, I have had many ideas for new albums and multiple songs that I am waiting to share, as well as ideas of albums based around collections of songs that I have lying around.
But let's forget about what was and focus on my thoughts right now.
I want to give breakcore another go. Maybe mixing it with other things like dubstep a bit more.
I see that EXTERMIN8 has gotten, as of now, the most views on NG, so I do think it would be interesting to take it further in that direction.
From me personally, I do want to try making some more crazy insane sounds and just see what else I can do.
I'm currently conceptualizing a new sort of album, a bit smaller than CGXX however still mighty in intention.
It migt be an EP. I'm not really thinking of making it a full-blown journey as much as I want to make it just a collection of songs stemming from similar inspirations.
Something dark. Something edgy.
I wanna take breakcore places, still using it as a tool to glide through the dark, demented atmospheres to the deep, ethereal, atmospheric ones too.
Apart from that, BITPOP NEWS.
Now HERE is something I haven't payed much proper attention to recently. But oh boy there is something cooking up from that side of the lab. It will probably be after this concept of an EP, however a bitpop album WILL happen and it will RULE. Trust me. One day. Soon.
bye.

hi thanks for checking in imSTILLA PIECE OF GAarBAAge!!
A lot has happened since my no-posting-until-2024-holdoff
I have been experimenting more with bass music recently, as well as more bitpop stuff.
I have been sharpening both skills. I still have ways to go, but my stuff sounds a little more polished than before.
I do think sometimes about making an alias. One focussing on bitpop, chiptune and other kinds of EDM, whilst another focuses on DNB, dubstep and more darker, underground kinds of sounds.
Whilst this does sound like a good idea, I don't want things to get too messy.
Besides, I don't want to start categorizing too much. I like freedom and exploration and I'd prefer it if i DIDN'T one day have to spend ages having to think about which alias to post a song under because of how much it incorporates elements of different things.
I don't really see this happening in the future. I like the way it is now. A slowly rising empire of music all under one name.
Thinking about it, it does get very diverse sometimes.
Murray's Park was some weird lo-fi stuff. Pancake Picnic and OMC were different kinds of bitpop. The Wheatfields was orchestral, and now CRYPTOGRAPHIXX will be breakcore.
From here on we can only expect more of this to happen. A wave of DNB and dubstep is on the rise, and I don't see my love for bitpop deminishing anytime soon.
This empire will one day be filled with a complex range of genres. Wubbing basslines, brostep bangers and lurid, nauseating, unforgivable breakcore songs will live amongst the hardcore-happy, emotional, wild wacky world of chiptune and its related genres.
I will not hold back and fear what others percieve, nor will I fear over control over what my "vibe" will be to the public.
I shall make music as I please and follow wherever the waves take me.
And you should too.
I want to try exploring shoegaze sometime too.

I am officially unable to hold back this information anymore.
The wait is over. Almost.
The upcoming album is officially my 5th album, as well as my longest yet.
The art can be found on my profile.
It will be set to release during early January 2024.
Some insight:
The name is CRYPTOGRAPHIXX. It's, if you haven't solved the riddle in the post I made some time ago, an attempt at breakcore (and other surrounding genres).
It all began when I was scouring the internet for resources and came across this old school drum sample mega pack.
Seriously, this thing is enourmous and contains samples of all sorts. I then began playing around with them and, after some time, realised that this could really go somewhere.
Weather it be the aggressive, agonising glitchiness of classic breakcore or the more modern, ambient DNB sound of the new 20's breakcore explosion and revamp, CRYPTOGRAPHIXX covers all angles.
For almost every song I have made, I have composed the drums manually. However this genre, as you might as well know, focuses entirely on composing drums in a completely different way.
With this, I had to get comfortable with sampling.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this album involves split-up, chopped, rerranged frankensteins of drum samples, some roaring out of your speakers at speeds as fast as 200bpm.
Note: there were a handful of songs with pre-made chops or just unedited drums.
Either way, it ranged from me making a song in a single evening to building and improving on one over the course of months.
Making breakcore is somewhat different to making other genres, for the better and worse. I think that it's a super fun, immersive genre that's basically a goldmine for producers to seize by the neck and slice it apart, stitching together whatever aspects they want and painting it their colours. To be honest, I enjoyed it a lot, and would definately consider coming back to it at some point, definately going in with a different take, taking it further. Possibly expanding on the ambient side of things.
One or two songs, as you will find, aren't even breakcore, but I still saw fit for the album.
Every song was made using MPC Beats.
And, of course, because I take pride in my albums, it's fully furnished with an atmospheric intro, song transitions, mixing straight from the bedroom through budget Logitech speakers, and fully sequenced and exported through Audacity (chosen to give it that low quality, bass-and-volume-fluctuation, washed-out sound which was imperative to the sonic qualities of the album).
Trust me.
It's gonna be great.
Okay at least.
